Casual Sandwhiches
There are two mall areas around 111 and Washington street. There are a wide variety of casual quick food such as Cosi (great sandwhiches).
One is on the right side of Washington Street (from the resort), just before 111.
For the other area, turn right on 111 from Washington Street and then turn left immediately into the mall.

Groceries
We know it can be expensive eating at restaurants during your whole trip. Also, if you are like Thura, you need to have snacks around all the time. Here are some options:
The best place is the Ralph's grocery store, about 2.5 miles away. When you leave the resort, turn right on Eisenhower, take your first left on 50th Avenue, go to the second light, Jefferson Street. You will see Ralph's on your left on the other side of the intersection of 50th and Jefferson.
Trader Joes and Jensens: in the mall area on the right hand side of Washington (at 111) you will see a Trader Joe's and a Jensens. We DO NOT recommend Jensens. You will find yourself paying 50% more for common items.
Other grocery stores. There are lots of stores on 111 towards Palm Springs, however, we have found the Ralph's out at 50th and Jefferson to have the best quality.

Ok, Thura and I like the ribs and BBQ here. We like to get take out and bring it back to the resort for a picnic by the pool. It is about 7 miles away on 111. When you leave the resort, turn left on Eisenhower, left on Washington and left on 111, then go 5.5 miles. You will see it on the left hand side.

Thura and I enjoyed this restaurant and it's unique layout. It is close to the resort on Hiqhway 111 and Washington. When you leave the resort turn left on Highway 111 and you will see it on the right hand side.

One of our favorite places is Tommy Bahamas. We love the coconut shrimp. If you can get out of there without dropping a ton of money on their super comfortable shirts then you have better discipline than us.
