Stetching with 10 thousand other runners!

Thank you so much Noriko for getting me to do this.This is my last race before I go to Tokyo. Started doing races since 2004. I did 30 races total, 3 marathons, 20 half marathons and the rest shorter races.  It is my third time doing the Kaiser half marathon. It is a flat, fast and easy course. It took me 2h9mn! Thura is becoming a snail in her old age! Used to rate number one in lots of races!

Hi Everyone,
I am happy to say that so far only two people have declined our invitation. But on the other hand the largest room can only fit 50 of us with no room for the cake! So we will have champagne bubbles and cake back at the pool at La Quinta where we can be more relaxed and even put on our swimsuit. I hope one of you is master at cake cutting! :o)

Thank you for all of you who thought of me. This was my third marathon. I thought I was going to die! It was so cold and I crashed at mile 25. Almost didn't make it. It took me 5 hrs. That is what you get for not training, not eating healthy and not enough sleep! Noriko and I plan on doing the next one in Japan! :o)

Miss Nike Marathon!

Hello gals and gools,
Two years ago when Chris and I met I was training for the Nike marathon which I did with my brother. Chris and Tommy were there cheering us. Tomorrow I am doing the same marathon two years later with my friend Noriko. We are a pair of misfits hopping runners as she had a surgery two weeks ago and I crack my hip playing tennis in Seattle then later golf! Wish us good luck! We have 6.5 hrs to finish. Noriko said: we will finish as long as we don't break a leg! :o)
